Unlike 600 years ago, today you bathe in warm water. The water in the Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad comes from its own spring, a healing spring that is fed from the Drei-Schwestern-Brunnen, just as it was 600 years ago.
The healing power of water
This rich mineral water has a positive effect on health and well-being. So that you don't have to lie in cold water like 600 years ago, we use two pellet heaters to heat the water to a pleasant temperature of 35 degrees. Pellets are made from natural waste wood such as sawdust and wood shavings from the wood processing industry. They are subject to a strictly controlled EN standard. 1 kg of pellets contain the same amount of energy as half a liter of extra-light heating oil.
