How to reach the Rigi
There are a few different ways to reach the mineral bath from the valley: you can take either the rack railway from Goldau or Vitznau, or one of the seven cable cars to transport you up the Rigi. However you choose to travel, you’re sure to find an easy and exciting way to reach your destination. It is not accessible by car.
How to find us
Getting here via Weggis
Enjoy a cable-car journey from Weggis to Rigi Kaltbad, which takes you high above Weggis. The entrance to the mineral bath is in the same building as the cable-car station.
Getting here by bus
Bus number 2 with connections to Schwyz, Brunnen, Gersau, Vitznau and Küssnacht. Weggis, ferry stop.
Getting here by boat
Regular ferry connections from Lucerne (50 minutes) and other towns on Lake Lucerne. On arrival at the Weggis ferry stop, approx. 10 minutes’ walk to the Rigi railway valley station.

Getting here via Vitznau
Enjoy a comfortable journey from Vitznau to Rigi Kaltbad via rack railway. The Rigi Kaltbad station is just a few minutes’ walk from the Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad.

Bus number 2 with connections to Schwyz, Brunnen, Gersau, Weggis, Vitznau and Küssnacht.
Getting here by boat
Regular ferry connections from Lucerne (50 minutes) and other towns on Lake Lucerne. On arrival at the Weggis ferry stop, approx. 50m walk to the Rigi railway valley station.

Getting here via Goldau
There are a few different ways to reach us via Goldau. If you’d like to combine your visit with a hike, travelling via Goldau is your best bet. The rack railway will take you from Arth-Goldau to Rigi Wölfertschen-First. From there, you can hike to Rigi Kaltbad, a route that takes around 40 minutes. If you’d like to travel from Arth-Goldau without the hike, you can take the rack railway to Rigi Kulm and then change to the Rigi Kaltbad train. Rigi Kaltbad station is just a few minutes’ walk from the Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad.

Motorway A4, exit (no. 38) Goldau, after approx. 200m you will find the car park A4 directly on the line of the Rigi railway.

Getting here via Kräbel
Take the Kräbel-Rigi Scheidegg cable car and combine your journey with a hike lasting approx. 2 hours. Discover the panoramic trail from Rigi Scheidegg to Rigi Kaltbad.
