Water-based birth preparation Course 451
Enjoy – Relax – Forget about time
13.11.2024 - 18:00 to 18.12.2024 - 19:30
Your body relaxes and lets go
Pregnancy is a period of major change and the prelude to a significant new stage of life. Preparing for giving birth and becoming a parent while in the warm water is a very special experience. When we’re in the water, we’re in the same environment as our unborn child: weightless, supported, safe and enveloped.
Our body lets go and our breathing gets deeper. The 35°C water invites you to relax. Tensions in your back, which are sometimes caused by pregnancy, are released. Entering the water, submerging ourselves, simply floating and listening to the sound of the water as we do so allows us to feel connected with our child in a unique way.
Six classes of 90 minutes.
Corina Engel is a qualified midwife and has undergone further training in water-based birth preparation. She works as an independent midwife, and also works with acupuncture during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
